Our Packaging

We make every effort to use the minimum amount of packaging material and are constantly searching for more environmentally friendly alternatives.

Recently, we began using biodegradable and compostable corn starch based loose fill to pack our boxes rather than the ubiquitous polystyrene peanut.

We will sometimes use the polystyrene peanuts but only when they’ve been shipped to us. We never buy them but think they should be used at least twice in their 500 year lifetimes:-)

You can determine which you received because the cornstarch fill has a cylindrical form whereas the polystyrene fill has the traditional peanut shape.
